I'm very pleased with our purchase this is a replacement for our old GE micro wave that is 15yrs old and still works but we redid the kitchen and went with the black & nickel finish model, we also have a GE micro wave in the cellar kitchen and its 16 yrs old and works very well we liken GE products,
I would recommend this to a friend!

Worked great for 4.5 yrs

Then started having problems from shutting down due to electrical or overheating problems then boards going bad. Also had major problems with the GE fridge we bought at the same time ruining wood floors. Unfortunately cannot recommend this brand overall, let alone this microwave.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Much better than our previous microwave, everything about this microwave is great. The cooking time is quick to reheat, easy to use, LED clock is very bright and easy to see. Very sleek and design is good. Great microwave for the price.
