Very nice it has the 30 second heating that allows a little more cook time when needed.

Another broken GE product

We bought all new appliances when we remolded our kitchen and they were all GE ! It’s been 2 years and I’ve already had to replace all 3 . They only offer a 1 year warranty and now I know why . Never ever will I but anything made by GE
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Works as expected. It’s a microwave!

Oven works as expected. It sounds hollow an tinney when closing door. The fixed clock light level is bright enough to read by after dark and we have two GE products to contend with. Manufacturers used to know how to dim displays at night but that would cost 10 cents and raise the price $5.

Our Cooking Products Design team will be informed of your feedback regarding the sound the door makes, as well as the lack of a dimming option for the displays. We value your insight, as we want to make sure we’re aware of any concerns our consumers have with our models. There is an option to fully turn off the display, if you might prefer that - this can be done by holding down the Display On/Off button for 3 seconds.

A great replacement

This microwave is a good direct replacement for the builder installed unit that failed after 7.5 years of regular use. I only wish that 36” units were more readily available to match the dimensions over the stove without needing gap fillers.
