Doesnt Heat After 1.5 Years

Of course warranty no longer valid and repairmen wont even take time to deliver a quote. they advised that the cost to repair magnetron is about the same as buying new microwave. Bought this to replace a Profile model which broke after 8 years! Wanted to buy another brand however, only returned to buying another GE because it fit in a customized space.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Rotating plate should stop at front of microwave when time is done. Don’t like having to reach to back of appliance to grab food. control panel should be backlit. Difficult to read “options” for cooking.

We bought this as a replacement for the GE profile microwave that came with our new house 11 years ago. We had zero issues with that microwave and so it made sense to go with a GE as replacement. We decided to forego the higher end model since we didn't need the convection capability. For the price, this was a really good buy and remarkably in stock given the current supply issues. Pretty easy to install as well. So far so good. Only other thing that i would note is that the door is not as hefty/substantial feeling as the one we replaced.

So far, so good. I love everything about this product except the touch pad. I find it confusing and not easy to use.

JUST INSTALLED APPLIANCE. SO FAR, EVERYTHING HAS GONE SMOOTHLY AND ACCORDING TO INSTRUCTIONS. MICROWAVE LOOKS GREAT AND EASY TO OPERATE.
