Nice microwave

It replaced another GE microwave that we had for 21 years . makes a buzzing sound the first three seconds when it runs , not caring for that. Hope it eventually goes away.

Does the trick

This microwave came well reviewed from NYT, which is why I bought it. It had worked well for the month or so that I’ve had it, I especially love the potato function. My biggest grievance with it is that the buttons require a fair bit of pressure to push, and pushing many of them makes a squeaky noise. I’m in my 30s and not feeble by any means, but I find myself using my range to set a timer when I used to use my previous microwave’s timer function. Had I known this I would have gone with another microwave, but it’s not enough to be a deal breaker.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I really love the features on this microwave

My old microwave finally died. I replaced it with this GE microwave and I am so happy with all the features that this new microwave has. Took mostly only 1 person to setup and install it. However you will need a 2nd person to help you lift up the microwave until it is secured to the wall and secured to the top. The video instructions for installation is on YouTube and it is mainly what we used to install it. Your wife will be happy with this microwave. Easy to use and easy to clean.
