Lousy handle

The function of the microwave itself was as expected. The buttons beeped, it's heated and defrosted as expected. Unfortunately the plastic handle is very easy to break off after a year of normal use.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Works great, but arrived all scratched up.

The features were all that I was looking for in a microwave and so far it performs admirably. Unfortunately I didn't notice all the scratches on it until the sun shone on them and it was already installed.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Thanks for the review. We're so sorry to hear about the issues that you've had with your model getting scratched during delivery. We're glad that it's working well for you though!
You may use appliance wax for light scratches that occur on non-stainless finishes, such as Black, White, Bisque etc. If your unit was recently delivered, you may want to reach out to your dealer to inquire about a possible exchange due to this delivery damage.

Perfect for the price

I am very happy with my purchase. It looks great and works great! It has all the features that we wanted and a perfect price point. The only negatives I could say is that it shows every fingerprint and the buttons a a little hard to push. Other than that it’s a perfectly good microwave

We like the product it works fine. We had two GE microwave before this is our third. We got about 17 years out of them. We have one big compliant the lightbulbs are very hard to replace. We had to move the oven to replace the bulb and the prongs on it bended very easy. We gave up!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We did want to note that the interior light bulbs in Countertop, Built-In, and some Over-the-Range microwave models are not consumer replaceable, a service technician would be required to replace the interior bulb. Since there are no directions in your Use and Care manual about how to replace the interior light, we'd recommend reaching out to our service team for further help. They can be found here: https://www.geappliances.com/ge/service-and-support/service.htm
