Quality control insufficient

Immediately after installation, a loud rattling could be heard from the exhaust fan motor. Although this will be replaced under warranty (soon, I hope), having a quality control issue of this nature is extremely disappointing. Given that our last, similar microwave from GE ceased operation after just 2.5 years, I would be VERY reluctant to purchase the brand in the future.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nice, but missing features!

Wish it was backlit! Doesn’t have shelf like our previous GE did! Turn table is smaller than our prior one. The fan is very loud compared to our prior one. Disappointed!

Love all the features it includes like express cook times, the popcorn, beverage, potato, melt, reheat and defrost settings. I love the the look and sleek design. Works great too!

Good overall unit

We bought this unit to replace a 16 year old microwave. Installation went quickly, and I was pleased that the exhaust came preset for ceiling venting, saving me time during the process. Over the years we have found that the sensor features we use the most are the beverage, defrost by weight, and potato. All those features work exactly as they should on the new unit. I gave a 4 instead of a 5 rating because of the very loud exhaust fan and rather anemic single range top light. I haven’t yet tried a brighter bulb, which might help. So far I would recommend to a friend as a good unit for the price.
