Love the sensor!

This microwave has been great so far! The sensor is especially wonderful! Instead of using a fixed time, it determines how long the food should be heated based on the size.
On my previous microwave, the potato button always lasted 5 minutes which doesn’t work well for small potatoes. Therefore, I could only use that button for big potatoes. However, this microwave works for all sizes of potatoes because it has a shorter cook time for smaller potatoes.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The product looks very good. We replace twice Frigidaire Microwaves in the last 5 years. And we change to GE product.

The door is very loud when opening and closing it and it is loosely attached and wiggles up and down when opened. Also a very firm pressure is needed to push on the controls which is hard to do when you have arthritis in your hands and fingers. Our previous GE microwave had none of these issues.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A good basic microwave

I bought this to replace a much fancier microwave which was nothing but trouble. This doesn’t have a lot of frills but it does a good job for all I use it for- reheating food. I haven’t had it for very long but it is intuitive and works great.

Why is there condensation in the door?

As a microwave, yes, it works. What I don’t understand is how there is condensation in the window of the door. The microwave is abocpve my stove at the correct height but condensation builds up in the window when I am cooking on the stove. I’ve never had this happen in any other microwave. The builder installed this in a new build so didn’t have an6 other choice.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This unit has a Vent Fan feature. The fan protects the microwave from too much heat rising from the cooktop below it. The fan will operate automatically under certain conditions or you can manual cut on the fan. You may press Vent Fan once for boost fan speed, twice for high fan speed, a third time for medium fan speed, a fourth time for low fan speed, and a fifth time to turn the fan off.
