HATE THE CYCLOPS "EYE" IN CENTER

Had a wonderful GE profile for about 7 years and it was used really just to heat. One day it just stopped. This one is not as big, the door sounds as if it is not made well and I had NO other choice in the store since I had to get a GE since my other appl. are GE. This one sounds like it was made by children but it does work. Thinking I should have gotten the other one fixed, the cost would have been about the same. GE and other makers, TAKE the BIG 'EYE' with your logo of the center top, tacky, tacky, tacky. We know who make them. May change all out the highe end of another brand.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We got the GE slate appliance package and the color is absolutely beautiful! No problems so far with the appliance either!

Awesome Microwave!

Overall I'm pleased with the microwave and it's features. It was fairly easy to install and set up, aside from some confusing direction on installing the charcoal filter. It works as it should, the express settings and additional features make it very user friendly. The only complaint I have is that the metal door handle matches up with the express boil burner on the matching gas range, installed below it. The steam/heat from the burner causes the microwave handle to get extremely hot.

Love the look of the slate color we bought. Easy to use and heats and works well. It did break within a month, the electrical face part, but GE was quick to repair for us.
