Really great microwave. One issue was it didn’t have a manual or a complimentary cook book. Also, a backlight behind the selections would have nice. I still love the product and would purchase it again.

Love the slate microwave!

I haven't had a chance to use all the features yet (only installed a week ago) but I love the color of my new microwave (to match the refrigerator). Opening and closing the door seems a bit stiff and loud compared to my last microwave - will take some getting used to.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Again I’m wondering why the current slash on price. A reduction of approximately 36% makes me wonder if the product has a flaw.

Surface glass light very dangerous

We had our GE microwave installed 6-9-22. On 7-3-22 we were cooking on our GE electric range and running the microwave fan and microwave surface light concurrently. We were making gravy and heard the glass breaking and we observed a piece of glass dropping into our gravy pan. Fortunately we had not stepped away before the glass broke because we could have eaten the glass fragment causing serious injuries. I reached up and felt the glass and was surprised how extremely hot the glass was. I was also surprised that the glass was not tempered glass.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very nice basic microwave with enough bells-and-whistles to get the job done. Looks great! (Paper wall mount template has about 3/16-inch error for placement of hole "B" but luckily avoided any big problem.)
