Very disappointed because of the loud fan noise!

Because we have GE slate appliances we wanted to replace our non workinf GE microwave with a slate color to match the rest. Everything was great until we first used the microwave. It was so loud we thought something was wrong with it. The serviceman that came to fix it said this the way the new GE Microwaves are now built. The exhaust fan now runs whenever the microwave is running. Much to loud for us!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

On over-the-range microwave ovens, you may find the vent fan is changing speeds or getting louder while it is running. This can be normal. Please review the following link:

Easy to Install

Product is easy to install but need to be catious about the bolt length if there is an air gap between top of microwave and cabinet shleve due to cabinset bottom trim board.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Microwave

The microwave was one installed in our new home. It was an. upgrade that cost us a little. It does what we want and is easy to get to know and use. It has a typical but nice look.

Love the extra features

The size is just right, installation was quick, and it's a pretty addition. The mute option is wonderful! 2 vent options as well as 2 levels of surface light. Easy to clean. Nice product!
