The microwave does the job but the control panel on the front of the unit is flimsy. I expect it to give way after a couple of years of use.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great for the price

This microwave replaced a 16 year old unit that was beginning to falter. It is fairly quiet and so far has met expectations for a GE product. Would recommend to others.

Door and Key Pad Issues

The door on this unit is hard to open. The plastic overlay over the keypad has worn through over three buttons in just 4 months.

Easy controls

I love how intuitive the controls are for this microwave. I also love how all of the controls work. I do wish the final deep we’re louder, and under the microwave light were brighter. This is my second microwave of this model. The first one only lasted 20 months. I certainly hope this one lasts longer. My whole GE microwave lasted 10 years.
