I was disappointed with the door. The microwave fit in the space above my range but I cannot open the door wide because of the way it is hinged. I bought the same model that was previously in that spot . Previous door opened fine.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We bought this GE black stainless steel microwave to replace our old black GE one. We bought this because we love and trust the GE brands. So far after almost a month, this microwave has been great! Love it!

Quiet operation

We love how it looks in our space. The fingerprint resistant stainless steel is really nice. We love how quiet it is. Also we have always loved the quality of GE appliances.

Unfortunate Repeat Purchase

Purchased this same model less than two years ago. It was repaired once while under warranty. We had the exact same problem (not heating) after warranty expired. When we called for repair we were informed that it would be less expensive and better in the long run to just purchase a new one. In order to match our other appliances and not have to drill different holes, we went with the same model. Hopefully this one will last longer than the original unit.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
