Great upgrade

Our old Spacesaver microwave finally gave out, and we replaced it with this one. It fit in the old space perfectly. I think they even used the same brackets to install it. What we like is that the basic operations function the same as the old microwave, but there are some great new features like "reheat" and, my favorite, "melt." Perfect for liquifying butter or chocolate without burning it. We also like the more modern look of stainless steel. Two thumbs up on this replacement model.

Microwave Burns through light bulbs

We have had this microwave for a little less than a year and have had to change the bulbs out twice. We have had another GE Microwave for many years-never once had to change a light bulb. Everything else has worked fine this far, just makes you wonder what is going on.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
