Purchased this product to replace a Samsung microwave and the difference is amazing. Samsung was constantly giving error codes and not heating food. This product is easy to use and no issues so far.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Microwave stays on when door closes.

Have to open and close door several times for microwave to turn off.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We are sorry to hear about the issues with the microwave powering off, that definitely is troublesome to deal with. Definitely something we don't want anyone to experience when using their microwave. If you haven't already we would suggest trying an electronic reset, this can be done by removing the power cord for about 30 seconds and plugging it back in.
If that doesn't help any, then we would suggest getting a technician out to take a look. We are confident they would be able to diagnose and fix the issue. Here is the link to schedule online: https://www.geappliances.com/ge/service-and-support/service.htm

I have had this model for 3 months. There are an amazing amount of features. Cooks evenly. I use this mainly for reheating, defrosting and boiling water

We bought same model in 2017 and am disappointed it had to be replaced so soon. Because of the handle that matches the rest of the appliances we decided to get this one. I hope this product lasts longer
