We purchased this GE microwave oven because our first GE microwave oven failed after just over two years. We bought another one since the support bracket is the same, for much less installation work. So far, this oven is performing very well. If it gets many years of service without breaking, we will be happy. If it only goes a couple of years before having issues, it will be the last GE microwave that we ever buy.

Great microwave with just one thing….

I live my new built-in microwave. The only thing is I am worried how long it will last due to the way the door works. I only bought this new one because the last one, same model and make, had its door spring continuously popping off. When I could no longer fix it, I found the door part was unavailable. Had to buy a whole new one. Door is still very awkward and loud to open and close.
I would recommend this to a friend!
