We purchased a new GE microwave to replace the one we previously had in the home which eventually gave out. The microwave was a perfect swap and it has the nice GE sleek look to match with the rest of the GE products we have.

New GE Microwave - big thumbs up

We got our microwave about 2 weeks ago and it has surpassed our expectations. It was a replacement for our old GE microwave that we had for 22 years, we hope this new one lasts as long or longer. This unit is a bit bigger and comes with much more functionality, including; variable power options, a quieter fan, excellent lighting for the range top, and a more versatile timer and other settings.
I would recommend this to a friend!

After having for this microwave for two and ahalf months the unit stopped working. It's taking three weeks to have a GE contracted repair person to come to see what the issue is. The microwave does nothing and I mean nothing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The one thing that happened is the microwave heated on the outside. I was boiling eggs on the stove, and the steam went up to the microwave vent.
