Very Happy with this microwave!

This microwave replaced an older model. The installer did have to drill new holes for the mounting plate, and turning the vent fans forward to recirculate the air was really easy. The black finish does smudge easily (which I already anticipated), and there are nearly imperceptible scratches along the top front finish (a picture shows these scratches in greater detail than what can be seen with the naked eye) that I assume happened in the factory somehow.
This microwave cooks my food so evenly!! Soup and beverages are a breeze. I have to set it to cook longer when I do oatmeal as it won't get as hot as the old model, saving my plastic bowls. It runs so quietly compared to the previous model. I only really hear the ventilation fan gently whir as it cooks. So long as it keeps working this very same way for the next 5 years, this microwave was a perfect purchase for me!

Replacement for old unit

This unit replaced an older oven of similar size. This unit has a slightly bigger volume.
The controls are similar except for some different features. On the old unit if i wanted to cook something for 2'10" i would press 2 then 10. On this unit if you press 2 it immediately starts a 2 minute timer. Yo have to press 'Cook Time' first then 'Start'

during the pandemic things were bad, couldn't even get a microwave. I finally got one, but it seems to be junky sounding. Nothing is being built like the one I had. It just feels like they are throwed together for a sale.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We replaced an older one that lasted 15 years which was the same brand as this one. The beauty is the newer features but with the familiarity of button locations and east of use.
