Good microwave bad handle

We’ve had this unit for 2tears but the handle peeled the first two months. Awful. And toxic to handle

Stopped working after 4 months.

Mocrowave only works for food requiring short cooking times. Anything over avout 4 minutes, the microwave stops in the middle of the time and goes dead. Unit won't start back up for about 30 minutes or so, at which time you always have to reset the clock to get it back up and working. Forget cooking anything like a baked potato - I have to use the oven becuase the microwave won't run long enough to finish cooking the potato. what a waste of $$$$.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Our deepest apologies to hear that your microwave stopped working after 4 months and definitely understand how much of a pain that is. This isn't something we would expect from our products.
If the microwave turns off before the set cooking time is complete, it can be due to a covered or blocked oven vent around the case. Uncover the vent or reposition the microwave oven so that the vents are not blocked. For further troubleshooting tips please refer to the link below:

I like the microwave. This is my third GE microwave in 21 years. The only complaint I have is the vent fan is very noisy.
I would recommend this to a friend!

No manual is provided. The documentation says you can call a number and one will be
sent to you. You must download it.
Compared to my old GE microwave, it is larger, has lower capacity, no shelf and lower power.
ON the plus side, it is quieter and makes excellent air popped pop corn.
