Great features and cooks evenly

Our 2nd GE over the range microwave since 2004 just died. We hope to get at least 10 out of this new one. I just wish they wouldn’t move the mounting holes

Handle cracked after 6 months

It's a low cost microwave that's white and the proper size I needed. It was installed in January 2023. Now six months later in June, the handle is cracking on the side, otherwise it worked just fine and I was happy with it. It also installed easily as a DIY project. I read the reviews before buying and saw a few others had reported this problem. I thought maybe the buyers were too aggressive when using the handle to open the door. But I was wrong! Being aware of this issue, I was careful to avoid stressing the handle by jerking the door open, but it didn't matter. I used the microwave daily for six months before noticing the cracking. I'm now grabbing the handle the same way I hold my coffee mug with thumb on top, to minimize the stress applied to the handle. I'm hopeful the one year warranty will cover a replacement handle and the installation service call. Additionally, the LED display lights are VERY bright at night. I covered them with clear tape and used a blue permanent marker to reduce the brightness. Looks much better. The broken handle is why I'm giving it 3 stars, otherwise I am happy with the purchase.

The only thing I don't like about it is, the door won't stay open when you're trying to utilize it. It swings closed and gets in the way.

Just installed - nice looking, white inside, which is one reason I selected this one. So far, this microwave oven works perfectly. Vent fan is fairly quiet.
