This is the 3rd GE Microwave I have owned- 1st lasted 16 years, 2nd lasted 5 years, and This one I have my doubts if it will last very long. You have cheapen the product. The handle feels cheap and when you open it the door mechanism seems cheap.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great microwave, use melt feature often.

I’ve had this product for over a year now and overall it works good. My only complaint is that the melt feature for chocolate often over cooks the chocolate chips I place in the bowl. I appreciate the melt feature for all the other items and it’s really really nice to have it for butter.

Works pretty well. Has a slight delay to start working and a small rattle sound. No problems so far!

Newer version isn’t as good

Literally feels so cheap. Had the previous version of this model and went to replace with the exact same one because the paint was peeling inside (our fault) and it’s a different version of the same model and didn’t fit the same in our space. But also feels so cheap. The glass plate doesn’t sit very well either and falls off the holder very easily.

Not the same model as on display

I like the microwave, but it is not the same model as was on display (and thought we were purchasing). My concern is the top of the microwave. It has a large open space. Since we have cabinets above this, small food particles (such as cereal) can easily fall into this part of the microwave. We have had to change what we keep in the cabinets. The model in the store had a different design without that large open space on top.
I would recommend this to a friend!
