Not pleased with this item at all

Microwave worked for a total of 30 seconds and then stopped working altogether. I believe an item brand new out of the box should work longer than that.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great All Around Microwave

Love this microwave. Quietly cooks the meal and the beep when the food is done is not ear piercing. Also, opening the door is so easy and the food cooks evenly. We are thrilled with this microwave.

Night light needs to be an LED

I love the microwave but one major flaw. The light when left on gets very, very hot. Must be an incandescent light versus an LED light. Needs to be an LED light. PLEASE

Microwave requires greater width than indicated

I purchased this microwave to replace a 30” JVM1540SP1SS over-the-range microwave. I assumed that this model would similarly fit in a 30” space but was disappointed to learn that the door hinge of this model requires a greater clearance. Since my microwave abuts a sidewall, I am not able to fully open the door. This seems like a design flaw and a step down from the JVM1540SP1SS model. Perhaps I missed It, but I saw no specification indicating that additional clearance from a sidewall was required.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
