Broke down after a year

After a year of owning this this microwave it broke down. It turns on but doesn’t heat anymore. Not sure what happened! Now I have to buy a new one because it’s out of warranty! I am not a person to be writing reviews and wasting my time but this is the second GE appliance that has broke down on me so quickly!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Short Circuit

I have noticed that on two occasions, the microwave stopped working. Then after several minutes it began working again. Have you any idea what may be causing this malfunction?

I bought this from our local big box hardware store because our current one suddenly died. This was really the only one that we can pick up at the store. It appears to work much better than the one that died, which was also a GE product. The exterior fingerprint-resistant stainless steel matches our recently replaced refrigerator. My only complaint is that one corner of the door is scratching the interior of the microwave, causing a tiny nick in the white paint.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
