Electric Spark at control panel

I bought my microwave and in less than a week after installation it start to spark. The spark is at the control panel. Terrible experience
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Sparking or arcing in a microwave can be caused by several factors:
*Gold / metal trimmed cooking plates / utensils *Recycled paper towels *Some vegetables, such as green beans and carrots *Some types of seasoning such as bacon grease or onions *Little water surrounding the vegetables
In order to eliminate, we recommend covering the food product or add water.

This is the 3rd GE microwave over the range oven we have had. We have moved twice since the first one and have purchased the same one each time, except this time it was a stainless model rather than white. This model is so easy to use and we have never had a problem. I really recommend.
