Easy to use

This is our 3rd over the stove model. We were surprised that the 2nd only last 5 years. Anyway, this model rated very high on consumer reports. I like how light it is inside. A little noisy, but I really like it.

Replaced a 20 year old GE unit. Much quieter and better lights. The automatic settings (popcorn and potato) work much better. Perfect fit and finish.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Should’ve went with another brand

Cheaply made. Bought it to replace another GE unit that had a similar model number. The old unit was much better built and felt sturdier than the new unit. Unfortunately the mounting was different. Seems there are no standard backing plate or vent locations with GE over the range microwaves.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Satisfied with one exception

We bought this unit to replace the exact model we previously had. GE has dependable products. Only complaint is the instructions to install were confusing and bracket graph was not accurate.

works ok, feels like a cheaper build

We bought this to replace the "same" model that we had, purchased about 9 years ago. This one works ok, but disappointed in the build quality. The door feels cheap, it sounds cheap. The older one had a very solid feel, which is why it probably lasted as long as it did.

Short lifespan!

After less than 3 years of owning this microwave it has stopped heating. It is very frustrating to pay for and install an appliance that has such a short lifespan.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
