Not working correctly

Microwave has a grinding sound when it is running, had to have repair man come out for this as well as our washer/dryer combo. Repair man agreed with noise issue, ordered a new motor for the microwave and will return in early Jan 2024 to fix.

Sleek and functional

The microwave is attractive and has some extra features that I didn't even know I wanted. I really like that it gives you a 1 minute cook time remaining beep. You can also mute all beeps completely if you want. It's pretty quiet overall when in use. The popcorn feature cooks both normal and mini size popcorn bags well. GE customer service is really helpful and addressed a couple minor issues I had. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase and would recommend!

It’s a microwave

It functions okay. It’s nothing spectacular but it does the job. We spent half as much as what was spent on the previous microwave, but you get what you pay for. We replaced a higher end GE profile microwave so this one doesn’t have as many bells and whistles. I didn’t think I needed those things but I kind of miss them. My biggest regret is this unit does not have a timer night light.

Cheaply Made overall the Quality is poor

The front shows the fingerprints. The control panel is loose and when you press the buttons the panel rattles. There should really be a top to the area above the section on top that protrudes out from the cabinet to prevent things or debris from the cabinets from falling into the open space. Our previous GE microwave lasted 25 years and the wife thinks this one will barely last 5 since because of the overall feel of the unit feels cheap.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
