Faulty item

We have had a problem since installation with intermittent heating. The tray also turns intermittently even when the turntable on is selected.. it appears there is some sort of loose wire or connection. I believe it is a faulty item as our previous microwave of the same model lasted for years without trouble. Time has not permitted disassembling the unit and returning it
