Defrost mode

So far the unit works good. The defrost mode has adequately defrosted meats, though poultry not as well.

Great feature and good price

Install was fairly easy. Features are good along with price. The quality is less than expectations as seems more plastic parts was changed. Simple upgrades should by now been incorporated such as lighting should be LED, better filtration system and dimmable feature for time display. Overall satisfied with price and features.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I love the fingerprint resistant stainless in Slate appliance collection! Looks nice and doesn't require constant cleaning. The microwave is sleek and functions perfectly. The over the range installation instructions were easy to follow and straightforward. Overall very pleased with this appliance.

Great Features, Poor Heating

This Stainless Steel Microwave is a replacement of an older Black Microwave, which did not always start until or unless banged by hand or pushed hard against the door. However, once it started it heated well. this new model of course starts immediately, but set at the same amount of time using the Express Cook numbered times, it does not heat as well as the older one. The new model must be set at 5 to heat what the older model setting of 4 would produce. Plus, the newer model seems to "whistle" a bit when running.

So happy with our GE microwave. It is so quiet and heats so quickly with lots of options.
It looks great in our kitchen and is viewable from everywhere due to our open design concept. Can't believe the difference between our old unit and this model. We are really pleased with our purchase.
