Disappointing Microwave

This is an OK microwave. We replaced our
1.9 with this 1.7. We chose this because we didn't like the dark interior of the new 1.9. This microwave only has 2 vent motor speeds. We thought that staying with GE would make installation easier and the two would be the same. That wasn't the case.

Not Quite Like the Old One

We replaced an older 36" GE Profile with this one.
Pro's: It looks pretty and seems to be of good quality.
Seems easier to keep clean and smear-free.
It has most, if not all, of the options that the old microwave had, plus a MELT button that we like a lot.

Cons: Smaller at 30", as the 36" is no longer made. The carousel is quite a bit smaller.
It is noisier than the previous model.
The buttons are smaller and not as easy to operate as the old microwave.

Handle will break off sooner or later

Handle is connected with plastic that get brittle and handle snaps off!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
