Nothing Gets Easier or Better

Bought this microwave to replace an eight year old similar model. Even went as far as finding a model with as close to the same model number as the one we were replacing. Ours was rear vented so I had to change that around. Simple job, but the instructions for the rear vent lack the instructions for putting back the vent bracket. It has it for the top mount but not the rear mount. Figured the mounting bracket would be similar. Wrong again, the old one was three sided with 4 tabs on the bottom for the microwave to set on. The new bracket of course is just for the bottom with only two tabs. Top screws, the old one was 25 inches apart. The new ones are 27 in. apart so it required new holes in the top cabinet.
Use, immediately I noticed the vent fan is much louder than the old model. Installation showed that the new model was lighter and that becomes much more noticeable when operating the flimsy door on the new model. Both are 1000 watt models but it seems to take longer to heat items in the new model.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bought to replace my old microwave and I am very happy I did. The finger resistant stainless steel is very easy to clean and it has a smooth, sleek look.

original version of this one didn't even last 5 years. It was installed when we had our house built and now we had to have it replaced by the newer version.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
