Love the look. Love the brand. This unit replaces a 20 yr old GE microwave. this is a “sensor” microwave which I have now learned the harder way what that means. The microwave decides when my food is reheated. Not me. I can see how maybe in the long run this could be a nice thing but for me, it’s proving to be a pain. I don’t use this microwave to cook anything but veggies. And even that I can’t just hit four minutes powers level 7 or whatever and have it work. The learning curve is higher. The microwave egg/sausage/croissant which is not rocket science cannot be put in this unit for one minute at half power. No, the oven will politely tell you you cannot change the power level when cooking basics. (That’s a little nuts!)
Most importantly, GE, why not put a card inside these new units telling me there’s no manual included in the box because all I have to do is open the door and scan the QR code. You can print a twenty plus page about installing for me but nope don’t give me the How To’s…..but yes I did get the Troubleshooting quick guide that doesn’t tell me that either. But it does tell me o can’t change the power settings —-and that’s suppose to be like that.
Looks nice. Hears water fine. I’m not sold on the reheat feature at all. Then again I’m hoping I like the melt feature when it comes to chocolate and baking.

Nearly perfect, except for one thing

This replaced a previous GE microwave that lasted 30 years -- sure hope to get the same mileage out of this one. I like the simplicity of the controls, especially the quick-starts that range from 30 seconds to 5 minutes. However, it takes more than a light touch to get a press to register; you really have to push a bit. That's the only thing I don't like, at least as of the first month of operation

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!! 2ND TIME BROKEN NO HEAT

I don't even understand how these microwaves have 4 stars I bought one that lasted 4 years BEARLY USED, I bough one to replace that one and a year and a half late broken again. Today I came home starving ready to eat when after wating for the food to be heated I realized the same thing hapened, it would not heat the food. Money wasted again !!! Do not buy these microwaves they are a failure!!!! I learned my lesson GE is not what it used to be. I trusted this company for many years and they used to do good appliances but now they are trash.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
