So angry at GE!!!!

1 light bulb instead of 2 in previous model (same size, same brand, same look, same button lay out. Why? Mounting holes at different position comparing to the previous model. Why! Is it so difficult to keep the same standard? Wall mounting bracket also different. Why, why so difficult to keep the same standard for things that do not affect the function.

Looks good but when you fry something the grease winds up out of top onto cabinet s
I know the duct work to the outside vent is hooked up and sealed..the internal exhaust fan is positioned in proper place.
Very upsetting because my original ge microwave was ok

We are more than happy to provide guidance with this microwave. If grease is staining ceiling on a model that is installed to recirculate exhaust, making sure that the grease filters located on the bottom side of the unit are kept clean and regularly changing the charcoal filter located behind the vent grill will help capture some of the grease before it is exhausted out of the unit. Note, we don't recommend deep frying inside the unit itself. If any additional assistance is needed with this microwave, service is advised.

We wanted a simple, easy microwave to replace the old one we had when we moved into our house. Some of the ones we’d shopped for were very expensive or cheap looking. This one is definitely not cheap looking, and works like a dream. The one thing that sold it for my husband was the mute button for the sound. Great product and very impressed with this GE microwave!!

Awesome Microwave Vent

Nice appearance and very quiet compared to the old one I had. This is replacing another GE microwave vent that was installed in 2004. I hope this one lasts as long as the other one. Easy to use with the 30 second increments, popcorn setting, this even has a "MELTING" setting!
