The soft keys are a little difficult to push. Sometimes I have to maneuver my finger a little to get it to work. Also the clock is VERY bright. I wish I could dim it but not turn it off completely. Otherwise I love the look of the appliance!

GE Over The Range Microwave

Great looking over the stove top microwave. Install was a breeze. Template for the top of the microwave that you are supposed to tape the the underneath of the cabinet was unwieldy. I ended up just measuring the disatnce of the top 2 holes from the of the front and sides of the microwave to the inside of the cabinet front and sides. Then drilled the two holes.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Longevity Of Appliance Unfavorable

I've had to replace this slate colored microwave twice due to arching & was not repairable. Each appliance did not last more than a few years. Unfortunately I'm not expecting my new one to last long. I mostly wanted to keep all my appliances the same color. Otherwise, I would have purchased a totally different one. However, when it's working properly it's a nice one! I recommend purchasing at least a 5 year warranty.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The holes of course did not match the old one . Had to redrill cabinet. Pain other than that we’ll see ,had a kenmore for 20 years and it still works.

This is our second GE microwave. Wife and I installed. Pretty good for being 78 and 85! We did have to take a lot of breaks.
One of the things we like about this new microwave is that the fan comes on when you start it. It is on low and you can change it to higher.
