The combination of price and functionality made this a "no brainer" purchase. When you add GE's reputation there were very few choices to consider.

Replaces a faulty Samsung with trusty GE

My husband and I installed ourselves. It took a few hours to cut the cabinets, and measure everything accurately after the removal of the former Samsung, but after few extra holes that we didn't need because of our inaccuracy, it installed very nicely. It looks nice and appears to be functioning properly. It is no more nor no less noisy than the former microwave. We are hoping we installed the top exhaust properly to the roof duct. Time will tell. Love the 1000 watt power. Heats nice a quickly.
