Some Thoughts After 2 Weeks of Use

After using my new microwave for 2 weeks, I have the following comments:
There is a lot of plastic used in the construction of the oven which makes it feel cheap and possibly breakable.
You must press hard to select a setting.
To cook a bowl of oatmeal, a minute at a time to avoid boiling over, it is cumbersome having to cancel the cook request and select another minute.
The GE logo should be placed in the center of the oven door’s width and not in the center of the entire oven’s width.

It’s attractive and does the job

Attractive, good installation instructions. Biggest disappointment is the super bright clock that can’t be adjusted, only turned off.

Only Time Will Tell

It’s doing okay so far, but we’ve only had it <2.5 weeks. Each vent cover fell down once (when door was being closed - different times). Have been very cautious closing doors since…. Have been told this model will likely last only 3-5 years….designed that way/current standards. Our old GE lasted ~ 24 years…
