Feels cheap and loud

I replaced an over the range GE microwave with the same model. The new one has 99 percent of the features the same. I find it to feel cheaper when I open and close the door. I also believe its louder when on than the one I had before. For those reasons I could only give it 3 stars.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The microwave itself works fine. The materials used are very cheap. The veneer stainless on the door handle will begin to peel and cut your fingers. We inquired about replacing the handle because of the peeling stainless veneer. We were told the door and handle are one unit. You must buy the whole door to fix. The door costs more than just replacing the whole microwave. So unfortunately until the microwave is no loger working we will have an ugly microwave exterior. Our microwave is only 2 years old. Warranty is from the manufacture date. Not impressed. We bought all GE appliances at the same time. I will replace my microwave with a different brand next time.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
