This is my 2nd GE microwave. Both have the same problem - they shut down after about 5 minutes and I have to wait for the overload to reset
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great location of controls.

Microwave is only 4yrs old and the paint on the floor if the micriwave is peeling.

This is our third GE microwave oven. The first one lasted over 20 years, the next one only 6 years. Hope this new one lasts a little longer.

like the features just one issue

I only had one issue with this product! There are large gaps in the blower on top of microwave. This is an over the range microwave and is attached to the wall and top cupboard. I don't know what would happen if something were to fall out of the top cupboard into the large gaps.
