Not quality I expected

I got a warranty replacement microwave for a previous model I bought three years ago. This
new version has giant open spaces at the top,
where a grill or other cover should be there to
prevent items from falling into the inside of the
appliance. Dust, grease, food particles can all
fall into this space and become a fire or health
hazard. I don't have the old one anymore, but I'm
positive the open spaces were covered. I recall
washing grease buildup between the slats. This is a poor design change. The last one also started to crack around the handles and plastic frame, which my GE dishwasher also does.
The door is vertically loose. You have to
disassemble the front of the microwave to
replace the charcoal filter.
It is not what I'd expect from this brand.

3 yr old microwave will not heat intermittently.

Wouldn’t recommend GE

Bought this to replace a ge adora microwave that took a crap after only 7 years. They look almost identical but conveniently the mounting bracket, and all of the holes through the cabinet were different. Thanks GE. Also the only reason I stuck with you is to match the rest of my slate appliances. Keep building stuff to break. In 7 years since I remodeled my kitchen your dishwasher broke in 5, and your microwave broke in 7.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

very difficult to press buttons. door sticks. hard to open door. doesn't seem to have power that old microwave had.
