The GE MICROWAVE IS A GOOD LOOKING UNIT .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The control panel is ok but a bit confusing per the placement of buttons. The touch pressure is not very sensitive so a firm pressure is needed. The unit is very nice looking and I like the handle rather than a push open button. When running the unit is very quiet. This unit has only two speeds high and low for the exhaust fan. The under lighting seems adequate. Replacing an older microwave with the new GE was fairly simple. . I LIKE THE PRODUCT.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Poor quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This microwave worked for five days. It’s truly unbelievable the poor quality of this item. I thought an LG microwave that only lasted fourteen months was poor. Five days? Ridiculous!

Nice microwave needs back light

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This needs a backlight for the control dial. I am sure I am not the only one who thinks so. This was a major complaint when I bought the one this replaced. Do you have any women designing these things? When I went to buy peel on dots ( for the poorly sighted) the first three comments was they needed it for the microwave! What does that tell us?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far so good. Installation was easy, thanks to the provided mounting templates and instructions. Capacity is quite large. Controls easy to understand with plenty of added features. Plus the look matches our other GE appliances. Performance is plenty strong with 1000 watts of power.
