Great Microwave

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice looking microwave. It replaced a 20 year old Whirlpool. Controls will take some getting use to (entirely expected)
It fit the old space exactly and the mounting holes were even close.
Had to cut two spacer blocks for leveling, but not all will.

Like it better than the previous GE microwave

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far I like it. This microwave replaced a previous GE Profile unit that made controls built into the face of the door. The 24 gauge (very small) wires all broke. I repaired the wires. I also see that they have changed the design. I didn't want to spend the money to replace the door. I t cost more to do so than purchasing the whole unit. And you have to buy the whole door assembly. I believe that the electronics fried on the old unit. Also not worth the cost to have a repair person look at it. So I decided to replace it with this microwave. I prefer a door with a handle now. It doesn't have the 'Profile handle' that matches the rest of my appliances - But I'm working on replacing it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The microwave operates ok . However I personally think the touch buttons are placed in an awkward sequence and confusing and I don’t like how much plastic it has.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
