Love the slate exterior & easy touch features

After 20+ yrs., there was nothing wrong with our old GE Microwave, but we were updating our kitchen with new appliances featuring new slate exteriors and chose to upgrade the microwave as well. With easy touch features it was a win for us and a win for the charity we could donate our older unit still in good working condition!

Bought this with the range, frig and dishwasher and my kitchen has a whole new look. Even better is that the appliances are so much more efficient than my previous ones. The microwave is excellent with a carousel that can be turned off if needed.

Nice microwave but.....

I wish this microwave vented to the front instead of to the top. It is, of course, over my stove and under a cabinet. Consequently, it had to be instilled so it would be 1.5 inches past the cabinet instead of flush like my previous microwave. I would not have bought it if I had realized that in the store.

The vent pushes the moisture on my cabinets as it is at the top of the microwave and not the front of the microwave. Work great and looks great.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
