Even Better than We Hoped

When we replaced all of our kitchen appliances, we said we wanted a basic microwave oven. The saleslady talked us into this one. I'm so glad she did. We like it. If fits our needs beautifully. We don't cook much in the microwave, using it mostly to defrost and reheat. This unit does that almost perfectly. Very happy with this purchase.

I love my new microwave. The color and features work great for our family! I like that the microwave is easy to clean on the outside and does not show fingerprints in the same way that black does.

Pretty Good Microwave for Price

Some of the features are not readily apparent to the casual user. You have to press the cook time button to set a time (and power level) for being on.
Also the packaging left a little bit to be desired. We accepted this unit after 2 previous installs. All of them had a scratch on the door handle. This one appeared to be the least offensive. GE needs to appraise its packaging and possibly redesign it to avoid returns.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
