Interface not intuitive

This is a solidly built microwave and nice in appearance. Function of the microwave is efficient and heats food very quickly and thoroughly.
The interface is not intuitive at all. Simple is better. I do not need extra buttons for popcorn and potatoes etc.
I do not want to be prompted with beeping constantly to turn items over in the middle of cooking cycles since I am aware of how I wish to utilize the microwave for cooking/heating. I want to quickly enter a defrost time + cooking time together. This is possible but requires many steps.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

purchase wall unit to replace countertop unit. works well but does not have -30 second time as the previous unit. Faceplate buttons are difficult to read.
