Completely Dead

Unit completely died within 2 years of normal use. Worked fine until we woke up one morning and it was completely dead. Anything else in the outlet works and it no longer works in a different outlet.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We bought this past month and works as expected. This model was one of the few that was not too big to fit into our area. Most microwaves are becoming too large for older homes.

I upgraded to this unit when I purchased my new home. After moving in and started to use it I found out that the keypad controls are covered with a black film. If the lighting in the kitchen is dim you cannot read which button to push. The keypad should light up after opening the door so as to see the individual buttons to determine cook time and levels.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Quiet and easy to use, very good set of controls that are easy to figure out.

This is our second GE over the range microwave. The other worked well, but we remodeled and switched to stainless steel. This oven has basically the same features, and works well. I only gave it 3 stars because the lettering on the controls is almost impossible to read unless the overhead kitchen lights are on. Gray letters on black background make them hard to see.
