The only problem, they installed it too high. The builder is coming back,
and dropping it 3" in two weeks.

So far so good. we purchased this item to replace our old unit that quit working. Love the "slate" color. Seems to perform up to standards. We only have used this to reheat food; no real cooking.
One drawback is the front control panel. It doesn't light up so it's very difficult to see the buttons to press. Runs pretty quiet and is a nice addition to our kitchen

GE Slate Microwave

I bought this microwave after my microwave of over 10 years died. It is a good microwave. The only thing that I do not like about it is that after it finishes and the alert beep is done is has a low "hum" to it. My old microwave did not have the hum and everyone in the house hears it as well

I have only had microwave for less than a week. Seems fine. I just don't understand why GE cannot give you the manual in the box instead of customer having to order it!

Fan is weak. When on it sounds like it is melting down. Doesn't seem to effect cooking time though.
