nice microwave with useful features

My wife and I bought this unit to replace a previous GE unit that lasted 21 years. This one has comparable features with one or two additional useful ones. One negative is that the fan is considerably noisier than our prior GE unit. I also liked the position of the under unit light on the old one better. It was in the middle of the underside with a filter on either side. This new one has a two bulb light in the center but at the very back of the unit. This position of the light does not high light the decorative tile on the back splash above the stove as well. Time will tell if this one is built as well as the prior GE microwave.

I purchased this microwave in July to match my new GE oven/stovetop Ann's I'm very pleased with it. Initially, I didn't like the fact that there wasn't a metal rack like my old microwave had, but I realized that I never cooked on two levels anyhow. I do like that the turn table can be turned off so that you can use an oblong dish. Some models didn't have this feature, which would limit which containers you could use. Overall, I'm happy with this purchase.

Very nice microwave

We renovated our kitchen and needed an above range microwave. We settled on this one because of price and availability. It is very nice. I like the quick cook and add 30sec options. I do not like how it will periodically beep a minute after the food is done. But overall, we really like the the look and the microwave.
