Like the look

I bought this for our newly remodeled kitchen. Our previous GE microwave was still going strong but with a new white kitchen we wanted a stainless steel one. I purchased another brand and returned it and went back to GE. I like it a great deal but wish it had some of the features that my old Spacemaker XL had. As of this writing, the new one (this model) died 6 months after purchase and I called the store where it was purchased and they are contacting GE to see what they are going to do about it. So, I'm waiting.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Meets expectations perfectly

selected this for price, fit, brand, and features. Wanted basic features I needed, did not want to pay for a lot that I did not need. Install was surprisingly easy with instruction manual. I installed over a downdraft cooktop so I do not really need the fan, but the fan is a bit loud set on recirculate mode, may be quieter exhausting externally. No complaints. If you need easy to use microwave with standard features I would recommend it.

Exactly what we wanted in a microwave oven!

Easy to use and understand the directions for all features. I installed it myself with help from my wife, even though it vents outside through a roof vent.
