We purchased this model to replace our existing GE Microwave we had for 25 years. The older model stood the test of time and was good to the end. Would have repaired the door hinge that broke, but its hard to find parts. Never hesitated getting another GE.

Was told this model was exactly the same as the one I previously had - NOT TRUE-choices are fewer and ones added are less needed eg Melt, Potato and often get ERR error for no reason. Disappointed.

Much quieter than the LG model we had .And the clock/display is exceptionally bright and easy to see , even in bright sunlight.So far ,no problems and hopefully none in the future

I think we got a lemon.

The magneto went in first 3 weeks after purchase, it just turned 2 years old and and it is not heating again, so waiting for a replacement magneto.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
