Another GE

Our old GE microwave started behaving strangely the last night of the President Day Sales. After a spending what was left of the night checking out microwaves at a couple of stores, we then came home and started doing some internet homework. We settled on this model, as the features, finish (slate) and price worked for us. I opted to install it myself, especially after having read a review that the mounting plates were the same as for older models. Installation was a breeze. The old mounting plate was identical, as were the screw holes on the top of the unit. Took less than 20 min to remove the old one, clean up the area and install the new one. The new microwave looks good and functions fine. One nice feature is that when utilizing reheat the options scroll across the LED as opposed to the sticker that was inside the door on our old microwave.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It has wonderful features of exhaust fan, shielding from interference to pacemakers and other cooking and non cooking features,

Good Microwave

Replaced an old GE microwave that was 14 years old. Hope this one last as long. Performs as expected. Fit on the brackets from the microwave I replaced. The only downside so far is the rather large and, according to my wife, ugly "GE" logo on the front of the microwave.

Replacement for my last GE Microwave

Previous Microwave was also a GE so I checked this brand first but also looked on line and in the store at other brands. Ge was the best value for features that i wanted.
