Defective out of the box

Purchased this microwave from a big box store and had it delivered with a new suite of appliances. Opened box and plugged it in to check it out based on other reviews stating display was defective. Sure enough, display states Service May Be Needed, Keypad Shorted. Will be returning immediately and praying this isn't an indication as to the quality of my new slide in range and counter depth side by side fridge. Was excited about replacing 15 yr old appliances in our new home but am now concerned.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Check where the light is.

I bought this microwave a couple months ago and can't get over where the light is placed. It's so far back underneath that it's of no use. I had to buy a battery operated light with a magnet for the front. Otherwise it works fine.
