I had to buy this one to replace the same one I bought a year ago. Electronics went out and it was cheaper to buy a new one. I bought the same one because I wanted appliances to match. Probably a mistake but wanted to give GE another chance.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is exactly what I was looking for in my kitchen remodel. It has all the qualities I needed: sensor cooking, decent surface lighting, and GE quality. I don't need any other bells and whistles.

Exactly What I Wanted

My last microwave was a gift in 1985 (I know an oldie. It still works and currently resides with someone else) So far this one does what we expected. Heats water, coffee and leftovers. It is nice that it is over the stove as it frees up some counter space the previous microwave used.

If you haven't already done so, try another small appliance in the outlet for your microwave. The outlet is located in the cabinet above where the microwave is mounted. We also recommend to leave the power off for a minute or two before restoring it. This will often reset the internal circuitry within your appliance.
